During each six week Cooking Matters session, you will learn how to get the most out of your meals and practice applying what you’ve learned at home. Each class will be led by a team of volunteer chefs, nutritionists and community members who are trained to help you find changes you can make to your eating, cooking and food-shopping habits. While the volunteers will share what they know best, they will also seek your input. After all, you are the expert on your own life.
Throughout the session, you will learn how to make foods that are tasty, healthy and low cost. Then, you will share what you’ve made together. You will also learn how to choose healthy foods and stretch your food dollars.
